ℹ️ Context

Over the past few decades, Columbia has grown its share and presence of accomplished people in the world of technology. That said, while New York is emerging as a technology hub, distance remains between Morningside Heights and the most exciting, cutting-edge of what engineers, technologists, and venture investors are focused on in the Flatiron District, let alone Silicon Valley.

🀝 Program Overview

Columbia in Tech is working with a group of early and mid-career alumni to host 1:1 or small group discussions with community members. These conversations would prioritize anybody:

  • working on or exploring ideas for technology projects

  • evaluating technology career paths and job opportunities

  • from backgrounds under-represented in technology

Student Partners β€” We are fortunate to partner with the Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs to organize and, with additional student groups, to publicize this opportunity.
