Dmitry Shevelenko (CC'08) leads business at Perplexity. Before Perplexity, he co-founded Tortoise, an automated vehicle repositioning company that uses remote operators to relocate shared electric scooters. He has served as an advisor for startups like Superpedestrian, Codi, and SkyRyse, and he is currently a board director at Payfare. He has years of product and business experience at Meta, LinkedIn, and Uber. At Uber, he led product partnerships and M&A with bikeshare, rental, and public transit operators. He conceived, built, and monetized key features at LinkedIn, and was responsible for ads partnerships, payment partnerships, and scaling global teams at Meta. Dmitry holds a BA in Anthropology from Columbia College.
